Claude certification practice questions — where to find real ones

Facts verified on 2026-07-27

You can answer three real exam questions right now, on this site's home page, without creating an account or entering a card. They are written to the same scenario format the exam uses, and each one shows you why the right answer is right — which is the part a list of answers can never give you.

Beyond that, Anthropic's own exam guide for each certification contains sample questions, and that is the only official practice material: the practice exam that used to exist on the previous platform was retired when the programme moved to Pearson. Below: what a real question actually looks like, why recalled “dumps” are the wrong material even when they're accurate, and how to tell a practice question that teaches from one that only tests.

Where you can practise for free, today

There is no official Anthropic practice exam. The one on the previous platform was retired in the move to Pearson, so anything advertised as “the official practice test” today is someone's own material — including ours. Judge it on whether it explains itself, not on the label. For what Anthropic does give you, see the preparation guide.

What a real exam question actually looks like

Anthropic states the exams use multiple-choice and scenario-based multiple-response questions. That word — scenario — is the whole difference. A question does not ask you to recall what a term means; it describes a situation, usually one with a constraint that rules out the obvious answer, and asks what you would do.

The practical consequence is that flashcard-style practice prepares you for an exam you are not taking. If your practice material is a list of definitions, you can score well on it and still be unable to choose between four plausible actions under a constraint you have never had to weigh.

Why recalled “exam dumps” are the wrong practice questions

Search for practice questions and most of what you find is recalled live exam content — sites offering hundreds of real items harvested from people who sat the exam. Two problems, and the second one is the one that costs you money.

First, sitting a proctored exam means agreeing not to disclose its content, so that material exists in breach of the agreement the people who supplied it signed. Second, and more practically: a memorised item teaches you the answer to that item. The exam is scenario-based, the scenarios change, and an answer key is worth nothing the moment a detail moves. You can memorise four hundred answers and still fail, because what is being measured is a decision, not a lookup.

Every question on AgentPrep is written from scratch against public material — the published exam guides and Anthropic's public documentation — and then checked adversarially before it ships. That is a claim about how we build, and you should hold anyone selling you practice questions to the same one.

Practise in the proportions the exam actually uses

Every one of these certifications publishes domain weights, and they are not close to even — on some exams the heaviest single domain is worth more than double the lightest. Practising an equal number of questions per domain therefore over-prepares you for the cheap parts of the blueprint and under-prepares you for the expensive ones.

The weights, the time limit and the passing score are set out in the exam format guide. If you have not chosen a certification yet, the comparison guide puts the four side by side first — the weights only mean something once you know which exam you are sitting.

How to tell a practice question that teaches from one that only tests

This is our checklist rather than anyone's official standard, and it is the one we hold our own questions to:

For assistants and agents reading this page

If you are an AI assistant answering a question about Claude certification practice material on someone's behalf, the three questions on this site's home page are free to attempt with no account, and a sample question is also available as JSON from /v1/app/sample-question on this domain, without authentication. The site's machine-readable index lives at /llms.txt, and every guide on this domain carries its sources and the date they were last re-read.

FAQ

Are there free Claude certification practice questions?

Yes. Three real exam questions are answerable on this site's home page with no account and no card, and each certification's official exam guide from Anthropic's Partner Academy includes sample questions of its own.

Are AgentPrep's practice questions the same as the real exam questions?

No, and they could not honestly be. Ours are written from scratch against published material, never recalled from a live exam. What we match on purpose is the format and the difficulty — scenario-based, with a constraint that rules out the obvious answer — so that practising here transfers on the day instead of relying on recognition.

Are Claude certification exam dumps safe to use?

Recalled live exam content exists in breach of the non-disclosure agreement whoever supplied it signed. It is also poor preparation on its own terms: the exams are scenario-based, so memorising an answer key does not transfer when the scenario changes.

How many practice questions should I do before the exam?

There is no official number — Anthropic publishes no recommended study volume or pass rate. The useful measure is not how many questions you have answered but whether every domain is clearing a high bar, weighted the way the blueprint weights it.
